My name is Stephen Owens. I am an Ordained Minister in good standing with my organization since 1989. I hold a Doctor of Ministry Degree, an honorary Doctor of Divinity Degree, and a Pastoral Counseling Certification. I currently pastor an independent church in Orange County, Ca, and I am a hospice and hospital chaplain.

 

As a pastor, I have over 25 years of experience in all phases of ministry. My ministry experience includes Teacher, Youth Pastor, Music Director, Praise and Worship Leader, Pastor, and Missionary Evangelist. My goal is to continue in a legacy of high calling with a passion for reaching the lost, ministering to the Church, and encouraging other Pastors and Ministers of the Gospel.

 

As a chaplain, I have made countless hospital and in-home visits to patients in all phases and varieties of disease, including cancer, heart conditions, stroke, and AIDS. I have ministered to families of children undergoing surgery, families of premature infants, and families whose children faced serious pediatric procedures. I have helped couples deal with miscarriages, and fetal demise. I have worked with the families of accident victims while they considered their options, and also visited accident victims in various stages of recovery.

 

As a pastoral counselor, I rely on the scriptures to guide the counseling session. I offer a true christian approach to spiritual / relationship counseling based on biblical standards and principles. I counsel individuals, couples, and families to see God's perspective of their situation and ask for his assistance to guide them towards a God-centered solution. I have counseled with families to help resolve conflicts in their relationships, with couples in crisis, with troubled teens, and with single parents. I offer pre-marital counseling, and can help you recover and revive after a divorce. A Biblical approach to counseling is the best way to hear God's voice during our times of crisis. I believe that God will help us find the solutions we are searching for in our life if we are willing to listen to Him and obey His word.
